Eltham Parish Church (Saint John the Baptist)

There has been a long tradition of music at Eltham Parish Church. The Choir sings at the 10am Mass every Sunday and at other significant services during the church year.

Each year, a festival is held to celebrate the patron saint St John the Baptist. This festival is centred around the saint's feast day of 24th June.

For the last few years, there has been a concert in November to celebrate St Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians.  A choir of local amateur singers comes together under the leadership of our Director of Music, and rehearses for about six weeks before the concert.

The church contains a very fine 3-manual organ built by Henry Willis, and occasional recitals are given to show off this splendid instrument.
